….CLASSIC whites
A few tones are clearly excellent like GREEN (color the fashion swarm has fallen head over heels for this season) and BLACK which conjures sexiness and is adored by nearly everybody.
However, today we are returning to the classic, THE WHITE, color (in my opinion) that is being downplayed these days….
Through this post, I’m going to break down some of my most favorite white dresses and make an attempt to bring back the flurry of white love.
- PEARL EMBELLISHED COTTON-BLEND TWEED MINI DRESS -GIAMBATTISTA VALLI
Beginning with this exciting piece from GIAMBATTISTA VALLI -the brand known for the phrase “GO BIG OR GO HOME”. This delightful cotton-mix tweed dress is glamorous, sophisticated and romantic at the same time, the pearl embellished subtleties along the round neck area and the sleeves pass on a rich demeanor (though falls a smidgen under ivory-ish tone) this little white dress is an unquestionable must have in your closet.
2. LACE JUMPSUIT -TADASHI SHOJI
Nothing feels better than finding a dress that you can wear for work and a balmy evening stroll with your friends and Tadashi’s lace jumpsuit imbues and delivers us just that. I have been working on my coffee-catchups and dinners wardrobe for the longest time now and trust me when I say this -Nothing feels better than having dresses that are basic, exquisite and you can simply slip one on and you are good to go without second thoughts.
3. FAUX PEARL EMBELLISHED TANK TOP -MIU MIU
Indeed another pearl embellished piece (really a top yet functions as a small dress for tiny individuals like me :3). This elegant top features mother of pearls along the contrast glossy silk collar which I love and when coupled with this exemplary Valentino V gold shorts , turns into a WOOW component. 😉
4. RED CARPET LONG DRESS -ELISABETTA FRANCHI
Relaxed, flattery and elongated -they look as good with a high peel as they do with a classic Paris Texas boots
This dress has the most beautiful drape feature on the hip and a side slit that makes your leg looks longer (my tiny legs need all the help they can get :P ). This dress (hands down) is the ultimate post-lockdown staple to have in your wardrobe, and I’ll be wearing mine with the Paris Texas boots (Going extra here), gold jewelry and sun-kissed skin for a subtly sexy evening look.
5. CRYSTAL EMBELLISHED SILK SATIN MINI DRESS -RETROFÊTE
Wherever your day takes you, this mood boosting dress suits. This wonderfully crafted dress is truly timeless, it exudes opulence and glamour, and the perfectly pleated waistband with Nicole crystal details is sure to draw everyone’s eyes towards you. Though this dress was primary created for modern brides (who cares), I can’t wait to pair it with MOI mini sac Rosantica bag and crystal embellished PVC sandals from Amina Muaddi for an effortless way to look extra polished in an instant 😉
6. MIDI DRESS -CAROLINA HERRERA
Carolina Herrara’s midi dress is a sophisticated and an elegant option for a number of events. It can be dressed down in a casual sense when coupled with a simple mule (I would go for the white valentino one) or dressed up with the Manolo Blahnik’s crystal embellished white belt. It is super versatile and has the gorgeous ruffled hem details, has the right amount of stretch and is a perfect minimalistic look.
